{"id":1626,"date":"2019-04-15T22:05:58","date_gmt":"2019-04-15T22:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/realestateagentmagazine.com\/?p=1626"},"modified":"2019-04-15T22:05:58","modified_gmt":"2019-04-15T22:05:58","slug":"minnesota-capitol-for-housing-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/realestateagentmagazine.com\/minnesota-capitol-for-housing-day","title":{"rendered":"SPAAR Members Spend a Day at Minnesota&#8217;s Capitol for Housing Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS\u00ae (SPAAR) members took part in Housing Day at the Capitol on March 4, 2019, a day coordinated by Minnesota REALTORS\u00ae and Housing First Minnesota for Realtors and builders alike to meet with the legislative representatives from their respective areas to discuss important real estate issues.<\/p>\n<h3>Among the issues shared this year were:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating a legislative commission on housing affordability.<\/li>\n<li>Designated agency: expanding consumer choice in the real estate transaction.<\/li>\n<li>Simplifying ad requirements for real estate licensees.<\/li>\n<li>Improving the First-time Homebuyer Savings Account Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, members began their Capitol visit by holding a rally and displaying signs that read: Home Inventory, Affordable Housing, and Enhance the Housing Workforce.
